Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony and reception will be entirely indoors.
Can I bring a plus one?
Yes, if their name is listed on the invitation. If you'd like to bring someone who wasn't invited, please reach out to us, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes, as long as their names are included on the invitation.
Should I bring cash for the bar?
Yes, please bring cash for the bar! Our wedding will have a Toonie Bar, which means drinks will be $2 each. While we will do our best to have change available, bringing small bills or exact change would be greatly appreciated. If you forget, don't worry, there are several places in Vermilion to withdraw cash.
Is there a shuttle service from the Regional Centre to the hotels?
No, we do not have a shuttle service arranged, but there are several taxi services available in town. Their contact numbers will be posted throughout the Regional Centre and can also be found in the "Accommodations & Travel" section on this website.
What is the dress code?
We'd love for everyone to wear standard wedding attire... think semi-formal to formal. While jeans and t-shirts are comfortable, we kindly ask that you save those for another day.
Where should I stay? Is there a group code?
There are rooms available in Vermilion at the Pomeroy and Super 8 hotels (let them know it's for the Onciul/Trynchuk wedding). These rooms will be available for booking until July 15, 2025. Alternatively, guests are welcome to pull their campers to the Regional Centre, as there's plenty of space available in the grass on the West side of the building (please do not set up in the parking lot). Please note that there's no power access, so you'll need to bring a generator.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the wedding ceremony itself. However, feel free to capture memories during the reception and other parts of the day!
